I was at the quarry today and this was in the bottom of the pit. Look at it compared to the size of my glove.
This is the fossalized footprint of a Dinosaure. No kidding. I brought it home as a conversation piece, and I am sure it will be with me for a life time. That is just a blink of time considering how long it has been buried. Millions of years! The darned thing was not easy to get either. It was in the ground about 15 feet down and beneath a layer of rock called Cherokee Stone. Where I live is along the front range of the Rocky Mountains. Our quarry is in the foothills, and that my friends, back in the days of the Dinosaure was an inland sea coast. The Dinosaures roamed the banks of the sea, and left us this reminder of the time that humans were not. So next time someone wants to give you the old bible thump about no dinosaures ever existing? Well the proof is in the pudding. One of the toes actually shows skin wrinkles. AMAZING!

Hey Barn I hadn't seen the new look of your blog until just now and it's fantastic.
I remember you mentioning you saw dino footprints in the quarry but seeing it in relation to the glove has a very large impact. Thanks, Dan
Wow! That's so cool, Barn!
Monkey Flintstone
Brodda! I need to speak to Dougie about this, but you have more than a print - it's more like a fossilized Dino Paw!!!
A special shout out to Dan & Monkey Flintstone...
Much love!
Doug
Brotha, I'm not sure what you mean by bible thump, but whoever has been thumping on your sweat lodge - sorry to say they're wrong. I express that with much love. So you know, in the Bible's book of Job - chapter 40... God mentions an outstanding creature called behemoth. So there's a thump, only with much love my dear brother!
We must seek to understand; that's what I AM is all about.
Much love,
H/P
